Tassie’s remote Central Highlands in a moment of time.
Please come on board and fly with us back in time into the Central Highland history.
From Launceston we will set course out to the Western Tiers – The Great Lake for landing close to Derwent Bridge where we will visit “The Wall”. “The Wall” is a stunning sculpture carved out of wood showing us the harsh conditions living and working on the Central Highlands. Still today the Central Highlands are a very challenging environment as will become apparent when we fly over it in our comfortable and air-conditioned helicopter.
From the Wall you’ll enjoy a beautiful take off. One moment on the ground in “The Wilderness” the next moment you’re flying above it and experiencing stunning mountain views.
Via the Great Lake we’ll fly you back to Launceston. If you like to end this stunning itinerary in style, why not let us fly you to a nearby award winning winery where you can enjoy a fine lunch and / or wine tasting at a very small additional fee.
