Our Cradle Mountain Helicopter tour is not just a flight, but a true wilderness experience! Our whole tour has been designed to showcase some of Tasmania's most breathtaking scenery. Departing Launceston we fly you out along the Great Western Tiers through the picturesque Mole Creek Valley to Mt Roland, the location of the first sighting of Cradle Mountain by the founding father of tourism in the Cradle Valley, Gustav Weindorfer. We’ll then fly you on to Cradle Mountain over vast Rivers & Gorges for unsurpassed views of the spectacular glacial formations, glacial lakes, tarns, moraine deposits, valleys and waterfalls.
Once at Cradle, take advantage of our optional landing and park explorer tour in your own private vehicle to the popular Dove Lake at the base of Cradle Mountain. Enjoy one of the many walks, or simply sit back and relax in the comfort of your private vehicle as we show you some of the iconic landmarks, flora and fauna from the ground. Return for lunch; a coffee at the Cafe; a visit to the wilderness gallery; or come face to face with a Tasmanian Devil with a visit to the 'Devils at Cradle' interpretation centre. (Lunch not included).
